Scheduling Your 

Appointment

We are in our office Monday through Friday and answering our phones directly starting at 8:00am. We do not leave the office till 5:30 every day. With the help of our after hours answering service and our on call doctor, we are available 24/7 for emergency consultations as well. We always encourage our patients to never hesitate in calling.

Scheduling an appointment is usually done over the phone unless your general dentist has already made the appointment for you, as is often the case. In most instances, we are able to complete your root canal in one visit on the day of your scheduled treatment. We do schedule an evaluation first prior to more complicated procedures such as retreatments, surgical endodontics, intentional replants, calcified canals, etc.

Non-Emergency Patients

Non-emergency patients are sometimes first seen for a consultation. A diagnostic x-ray is taken, the doctor examines and tests the teeth in question including surrounding tissue. If appropriate, treatment can be completed after the consultation. Special requests for immediate treatment can often be honored.

Emergency Patients

Those patients with a severe tooth ache, infection, fracture or broken tooth can be seen based on immediate need. It is our policy for an emergency patient to be seen the same day when the office is open. Our on call doctor is available to guide emergency patients after hours.

We make every effort to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Due to the very nature of the practice of endodontics (emergency patients and treatment complications) your wait may be extended. We appreciate your patience and understanding if this happens.
